From the bank along Miller Pond in Strafford, Vt., Junice Thurston enjoys the day while her boyfriend Howard Capen keeps an eye on his line. The couple live in Bradford, Vt., this was their second day fishing on the pond. The Vermont Fish and Wildlife stocking truck had just unloaded 1,300 rainbow trout into the water, their second stocking of the pond. Thurston said she enjoys meeting people while Capen is fishing.
