To qualify for the award, Toyota dealerships must excel in sales, service and vehicle delivery customer satisfaction, employee training and certification, among other categories. Dealerships that exceed the requirements in all categories receive recognition at company events along with national recognition.
“It’s a huge honor for any of our dealers to win this award, so to have 28 winners in our region shows how committed our dealers are to our customers,” George Brenner, general manager of Toyota’s Boston region, said in a news release.
Other Twin State dealers to be honored include Alderman’s Toyota in Rutland, Grappone Toyota in Bow, N.H., Irwin Toyota in Laconia, N.H., and Toyota of Keene in East Swanzey, N.H.
The Vermont Alpaca Store is scheduled to open May 1 in Quechee Gorge Village, 5573 Woodstock Road, Quechee. Owners Lisa Briggs and Brian Mattei, who also operate Living the Dream Alpaca Farm in Hartland, said the new store will feature alpaca clothing and accessories, including sweaters, gloves, hats, scarves, socks and slippers made in Peru and the United States, along with alpaca yarn.
