Hanover — A small fire that started in a boys’ bathroom on Wednesday morning at Hanover High School was intentionally set, the Hanover fire chief said on Friday.

Chief Martin McMillan has labeled the fire, which involved a paper towel dispenser in a third-floor bathroom, as arson.

No one was injured in the incident, and a teacher quickly extinguished the fire. The school was evacuated.

The Hanover Police Department has started an investigation. No suspects have yet been named, McMillan said.
