LEBANON — Police are investigating the shooting of a 33-year-old Vermont man believed to have occurred on Hardy Hill Road near the Interstate 89 overpass just before 7 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at 6:52 a.m., according to a Lebanon Police Department news release. They located the victim, who received medical treatment on the scene before being transferred to a hospital.
Hardy Hill Road was closed between Farr Road and Riverside Drive on Thursday morning during the police investigation. It reopened at about 12:45 p.m.
“At this time, there is no known danger to the public, and this appears to be an isolated incident,” the release said.
The investigation is ongoing.
