LEBANON — Lebanon Middle School principal John D’Entremont announced plans to resign at the end of the school year in a Monday email to families and the Lebanon School Board. D’Entremont, who has been principal of the school with about 500 students in grades 5-8 since 2017, said in his message that he feels that over the course of this year it has become clear that he is “no longer the right fit for LMS.” He will be resigning his post as of June 30. It’s a position “I love and that I thought I would never leave,” he wrote.
During his time leading the school, D’Entremont said school officials have revised the mission statement, built an advisory program, established recess for all, and changed the way students transition students into and out of LMS.
