WEST LEBANON โ Each spring, Upper Valley garden clubs and other organizations host plant sales.
The goals are twofold: To raise money to put toward community gardens and other similar projects, and to provide lower cost options for gardeners. Many also feature plants native to the region, which support the greater ecosystem.
The sales feature a variety of plants, from annuals and perennials to vegetable starts and herbs. Mother’s Day tends to be the kickoff weekend for spring plant sales. With the holiday on Sunday, here’s a list of upcoming plant sales. Email additions and updates to calendar@vnews.com.
