BRIDGEWATER, Vt. โ Vermont State Police cited a 51-year-old woman from Rutland City for furnishing alcohol to minors at a residence on Mountainside Road on Saturday night.
Police responded to “multiple complaints” about loud music and underage drinking at the residence at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to a police news release. Mountainside Road in off Route 4 near the Killington line.
Upon arrival, police found “multiple impaired juveniles,” the release said.
They issued a citation for the Rutland City woman who they said had “enabled the consumption of alcohol by minors.” She was released and is scheduled for arraignment in July.
Police also are seeking information about the owner and operator of a silver or grey Subaru Forester that took off from the scene “at a high rate of speed, almost striking a Vermont State Trooper,” the release said.
The individual is believed to have ties to the Rutland area.
