James Otis Chadwick

Sharon, VT – James Otis Chadwick, 65, of Sharon VT passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on February 4th.

Born on September 13, 1960 in Randolph VT, he was the son of the late Shirley and Nelson Chadwick. He graduated from Hartford High School in 1979 and went on to have a successful career in printing and graphics production. His work began at P+C Foods while still in high school and later included Dartmouth College Printing, Docunet and WIld Apple Graphics. As a technical production manager, his knowledge of computers deemed him the “mac guy” to many and he even ran his own small graphics business “Chadwick Graphics”.

He was an avid musician, playing the bass guitar in many bands throughout his life including; Country Express, Yvonne and the Reverbs, High Ground, 14 North and Common Ground. He had a passion for brewing beer, riding motorcycles, and cruising around the world. He especially loved sitting around a camp fire, playing music with his large circle of beloved friends.

Married for 39 years, he was a loving husband to his wife Pamela and a proud father to his twin daughters Elyza Kelly (Alan) and Emily Addleson (Eddy). He loved spending his days surrounded by his grandchildren (Ezra, Elia, Meabh, Molly, and Lucy). He is also survived by his twin brother John Chadwick, and sisters Belinda Chadwick and Cindy Tucker. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Kathy Stocking.

He will be greatly missed but forever remembered.

Calling hours will be held on February 14th from 2-4pm at the Boardway and Cilley Funeral Home in Chelsea, VT.
