Blue Jays Capture 2026 Majors Division Championship
The Blue Jays claimed the 2026 Claremont Majors Division Championship with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Red Sox in a classic pitchers’ duel.
Blue Jays pitchers Cullen Webster and Brady Leavitt combined for a dominant performance, allowing just two hits, both by Colton Pond.
Gavin Reed and Webster scored the Blue Jays’ runs after reaching base on walks and advancing on passed balls.
The Red Sox received an outstanding effort from Jayden Patterson, Josh Chaloux, and Pond, who combined to throw a no-hitter. Tristan Amell scored the Red Sox’s lone run in the championship contest.
Rangers Claim 2026 Minor Baseball Championship
The Rangers defeated the Marlins 13-6 in the Minors Division championship game and were led by Ashton White, who pitched two innings with three strikeouts, and Maximus Bovell, who pitched four strong innings while allowing just two runs.
At the plate, Jackson Goodell, White, Lukas Oliver and Bovell all contributed base hits and scored runs.
For the Marlins, Declan McNamara recorded five strikeouts and led the offense with two triples and a base hit, while Hudson Ash added two base hits.
