LEBANON, NH — Ronald J. Hooker, 76, passed away at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on Monday, October 5, 2020. He was born April 12, 1944 in Rutland, VT to Agnes M. (LaRock) and Gerald K. Hooker and grew up in Pittsford, VT. Following graduation from Otter Valley High School with the Class of ‘63, Ronald, being very patriotic, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. After his honorable discharge and return home he married Pati Shattuck.

Ron worked for Tip Top Bakery for 11 and a half years, followed by 30 years in the Security Department at Dartmouth-Hitchcock where he retired from.

Ron enjoyed all sports, playing softball, boating, and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed car racing and visiting the local short tracks. Go Yankees and Dallas!

Ron is survived by his wife, Pati Hooker; daughters, Tia Liu, and her husband, Ming, and Tara Pacht, and her husband, Jesse; son, Ronald “RJ” Hooker, and his fiancé, Michelle; brother, Alan, and his wife, Linda; sisters, Joan, and her husband, David, and Beverly, and her husband, Skip; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Bertha; and four older brothers.

There will not be any calling hours or funeral service at this time.
