Home schooling standards, or lack thereof
I think Rep. Kristin Noble’s idea of using a Facebook group to help her craft less restrictive standards for home schooling shows some promise. This will save time for our overworked legislators. Why not let a Facebook group of bankers rewrite the state banking regulations, or a group of insurance brokers rewrite the rules for insurance companies. And my favorite: rewrite the child labor laws. Since my kids won’t have to waste time on useless academic pursuits, they can work 14 hours a day in the family business and learn a trade while they’re at it. What’s not to like?
