Lebanon, NH – Rosemary (Griggs) DiMascola of Lebanon, NH, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026. She was 80 years old.
Born in Lebanon on January 2, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Rita (O’Donnell) Griggs. Rosemary attended Lebanon Public Schools and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1963. Following graduation, she settled into married life and had children. When her kids reached school age, Rosemary joined the work force taking a job that she thought would be just for the winter and ended up retiring 30 years later from Thermal Dynamics. After a brief retirement, she decided to go back to work. She worked for Hypertherm, Inc for 13.5 years, retiring once again in December 2024. She was an incredible all-around cook but really found her talent in baking all types of professional quality cakes for any occasion. She treasured spending time with family and friends, especially her retirement adventures with her sister, and MOST importantly to her, everything, anything, all things…her four grandchildren.
Rosemary leaves behind her beloved children, Michael DiMascola of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania and Christine (DiMascola) Shores and her husband Scott of Lebanon; her cherished grandchildren, Abigail Shores, Madalyn Shores, Riley DiMascola, and Bryce DiMascola, several nieces & nephews, and her lifelong girlfriends. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, her sister & best friend Sheila (Griggs) Jette, her brother-in-law Earl Jette, and her bothers Teddy & David Griggs.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 3–6pm at Ricker Funeral Home, 56 School Street, Lebanon, NH. The funeral service will follow at 6pm at the funeral home. A private graveside internment service will be held in the spring.
