NORTH FORT MYERS, FL — Thomas Charles Crary, fondly known to all as “Tom”, died unexpectedly, December 2nd, 2020, in North Ft. Myers, Fla, at the age of 60. He spent his younger years in Windsor, VT and Plainfield, NH.
Tom was born June 21, 1960 in Claremont, NH to James H. and Beverly A. (nee Greene) Crary;
He was married to his soul mate, Deborah “Deb” J. Barton July 8, 1986.
He was predeceased by his parents, nephew Joel Crary and son-in-law Rex Longley.
He is survived by his wife and two children, daughter Glenna Longley and son Scott(Wendy) Barton, their son Hawkens, all of Canaan; His co-conspirators in childhood adventures, brother, James H. Crary, Jr., and sister, Donna L Crary; His Aunt Mary Greene; Aunt Barbara and Uncle David Rhoad, all of Windsor. Also, many cousins (other conspirators in the shenanigans ) throughout the Upper Valley and beyond; and his brother in law, Ronnie Jarvis, of Colorado.
He and his wife, Deb, loved to travel in their RV visiting many states but always returning each summer to the Upper Valley. He loved good food and was a wonderful cook. He had a gregarious personality. He worked at EBA’s in Hanover for many years before moving south and becoming a baker with the Publix grocery stores. He was a man of Faith and always sought out a church wherever he was at the time.
