CLAREMONT, NH — TJ Raymond, 40, of Claremont, NH, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2020 with his family by his side at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH.

He was born on October 19, 1980 in Claremont to Jeffrey and Jodie Raymond of Claremont. He was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1999.

TJ was admired and will be remembered for all his athletic skills in baseball, skiing, tennis and especially soccer. He played on the Keene State College soccer team.

After college, TJ worked at TeleAtlis N.A., and as a manager at both Ascutney Mountain Resort and Okemo Mountain Resort.

TJ is survived by his mother, Jodie Raymond and partner, Rick Bergeron of Claremont, his sister, Kaitlyn Raymond and her husband, Jason Ryerson and their children, Connor and Cali Ryerson of Essex, VT; his grandparents, Tim and Dottie Dole and grandmother, Mary Raymond all of Claremont.

He was predeceased by his father, Jeffrey Raymond and grandfather, William “Pete” Raymond.

He deeply appreciated all that would help with transportation to appointments and special meals delivered to him from his extended family and friends. TJ had a special passion for food and his favorite holiday was Thanksgiving.

TJ had an infectious smile and positive attitude and embraced his illnesses with great strength and courage. Family was everything to him.

The family would like to thank all the staff at DHMC with special thanks to Dr. Tim Gardner and Dr. Sushela Chaidarun for their never-ending love and support. We are eternally thankful for all of you.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, November 14th at 11AM with the Very Rev. Shawn Therrien officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the funeral home and Raymond family ask all attending the Mass and burial to abide with all regulations. Face masks and use social distancing are required. No reception will follow at this time and a celebration of his life will be held in 2021 after COVID.
