LEBANON — Lebanon police are asking the public for help in locating a motorist who struck a 14-year-old on a bicycle Tuesday afternoon.
The juvenile was near the rail trail and the intersection of Bank Street Extension and Pumping Station Road around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday when the incident occurred, police said in a news release Wednesday.
The motorist stopped to check on the bicyclist but then left the scene before emergency responders arrived, the release said. The bicyclist suffered minor injuries in the incident, the release said.
Police asked anyone with information about the motorist or vehicle to contact Sgt. Garrett Hubert at 603-448-1212 or to call the police tip line at 603-448-CLUE. Information can also be provided anonymously at LebanonNH.gov/CLUE, the release said.
