Christian Rey Kirk

Sunapee, NH – Christian Rey Kirk entered eternal life on June 7th, 2026 at the age of 29. He was born on August 4th, 1996 on the island of Leyte, Philippines. He was adopted by his loving mother, Eileen Kirk on Valentines Day 2006, which made the Kirk family complete. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by his two sisters, six aunties, four uncles, and fifteen first cousins. Everyone was charmed by Christian’s beautiful smile and can do attitude. He seamlessly adjusted to this transition of a large family and NH winters with parkas and earmuffs. He was a leader of family fun, spear heading the family soccer games, Halloween trick or treating, and holiday decorating. He was a man of style with great hair and aesthetic. Christian knew how to make everyone feel special. A dedicated brother, Christian was a protector to his two younger sisters, Sheena and Angel whom he loved dearly and diligently helped care for.

Christian graduated from Sunapee High School, class of 2017 and attended Iowa State University where he earned his first degree in Architecture (Community and Regional Planning). He furthered his education receiving an Architectural Engineering degree from Vermont Technical College. Christian was employed with IMEG Engineering in Norfolk, VA. He was proud of his accomplishments and projects, as it utilized his gift of attention to fine details.

Christian’s passions included soccer, skiing/snowboarding, volleyball, and above all physical training. He will always be remembered for his love of an active lifestyle, witty sense of humor, desire for orderliness and neatness. Above all, his commitment and dedication to his family.

Christian was predeceased by his loving grandparents Eugene and Eileen Kirk. Surviving family members include his mother, Eileen Kirk and sisters Angel and Sheena Kirk of Sunapee, NH. His Aunts/Uncles/cousins include: Danny and Mary Kirk, Mike and Donna Kirk (Jennifer, Christopher, Patrick, and Elizabeth), Katie and Tony Tevere (Chris, Erin, and Emily), Maggie Donnelly (Colin, Aidan, Mairead, and Eoghan), Nancy Halpin (Connor), Kristine and Joseph Kennedy (Adare, Brendan, and Quinn). Christian will also be lovingly remembered by an abundance of friends across the country.

Friends may call on Friday, June 12th 5-7 pm at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH. A Catholic funeral mass will be held on Saturday June 13th at 10 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 724 Main Street, New London, NH. A private family burial to follow.
