ENFIELD, NH — Sandra Mae Baillargeon, 76, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She was born August 24, 1943, in Portsmouth, NH, to Vera Helen (Brown) and Richard Melvin Rand. Sandy graduated from Portsmouth High in 1962 and married Duncan Baillargeon August 18, 1962. The couple started their family and moved to the Upper Valley in 1964, following Duncan’s discharge from the U.S. Army.
Sandy was a parishioner of St. Helena’s in Enfield and on the Parish Council. She belonged to the Snowmobile Club, the Twin State Trail Busters. Sandy was a Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, and traveling – and in the summer of 2000 even visited Scotland. More recently she enjoyed bingo and being involved in other community events.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Vera Rand; and husband, Robert Duncan Baillargeon, Sr. She is survived by her son, Robert Duncan Baillargeon, Jr. of Eliot, ME; daughter, Linda Mosher of Woonsocket, RI; sisters, Helen Douglass and Beverly Regoulinsky; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to Calling Hours at the Ricker Funeral Home Chapel in Enfield, NH, Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Helena’s Catholic Church in Enfield, NH, Friday, November 15, 2019, at 10:00 A.M. Committal prayers will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Enfield, NH.
