Woodstock, Vt. — My baby girl, Winter Victoria Swanson, came into this world on Jan. 6th with a bang loud enough to reverberate around the world, the universe felt her presence. She proved to be a warrior, far stronger than her tiny stature. At 1lb 3oz, barely bigger than a breath, she fought like hell against all odds. My heart breaks that she got an infection that flooded her body and quickly sickened her to a place of no return. She died quietly on Wednesday, Jan. 10th on my chest. I, Anne Victoria Sutcliffe Swanson long for her but am incredibly grateful to have been able to love her and that the moments we shared as mother and daughter remain everlasting. The universe has brought her back into its fold and I, will find her in the grace and beauty in this world.
