Claremont, N.H. —
Gordon “Whistle” Therrien was born on May 1, 1958 in Springfield, Vt. to Gordon B. Therrien and the late Hilda (Stevens) Therrien. He graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont and went on to receive his Associates Degree in Applied Science from Claremont Vocational Technical College in 1978.
He was an industrial electrician and traveled throughout the United States during his career. He was passionate about his motorcycle, photography, sportsman fishing, and loved to travel. He will be remembered by those who knew and loved him as a kind and generous man.
Those left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory are his father, Gordon B. Therrien of Hernando, Fla.; sister, Tammy A. Therrien of Hernando, Fla.; brother, Joseph Therrien of Springfield, Vt.; uncles, Wayne Stevens and his wife, Linda of Bridgewater, Vt., and James Stevens of Phoenix, Ariz.; his beloved aunts, Carol Stevens Helie and her husband Joseph Helie of Claremont, Judy Bourque of Claremont, Shirley Rizzo of Inverness, Fla., Barbara Stanley of Ocala, Fla.; and several cousins.
There will be a private cremation care under the direction of Charles E. Davis Funeral Home with crematory in Inverness, Fla. A private service for family and friends will be held in the spring at Ascutney Cemetery, Ascutney, Vt.
