Lebanon — Anthony Boisvert, the alleged arsonist police say is responsible for the December fire that destroyed First Baptist Church of Lebanon, currently is being held at the Grafton County Jail in North Haverhill on $500,000 bail.

The 27-year-old’s case has been bound over to Grafton Superior Court from Lebanon District Court for possible indictment.

Boisvert also faces charges in Vermont. He was due in Windsor Superior Court in White River Junction on Tuesday, but failed to appear due to his incarceration in New Hampshire.

Windsor County Deputy State’s Attorney Heidi Remick said the state requested an arrest warrant for Boisvert at the hearing, which is the first step to ensuring Boisvert isn’t released in New Hampshire without coming to Vermont to resolve his case.

Boisvert faces 12 misdemeanor charges of possessing child pornography.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges in April.
