It’s First Friday in White River Junction tomorrow. Stop in at Two Rivers Printmaking Studio in the TipTop Building to see West Newbury, Vt., artist Carol Lippman’s exhibition of collograph and woodcut prints. The studio will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. The show is on display through Sept. 30.

Just around the corner at the Main Street Museum pop in to see the small but choice, and certainly tongue-in-cheek exhibition dedicated to Belka and Strelka, the two lovable Soviet pooches that went into space for one day in August 1960, and returned safely to earth.

Elsewhere, artist Sue Lenfest shows a variety of her pastels, oils, pencil and charcoal drawings, many of them concerning her relationship to nature and agriculture, at the Royalton Memorial Library in South Royalton. She exhibited her work earlier this year at the Norman Williams Library in Woodstock. The Royalton show runs through Oct. 22.

Randolph artist Janet Cathey will show her monoprints and block prints at Capitol Grounds Cafe at 27 State St., in Montpelier, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. as part of First Friday in the city.

In Woodstock, two new exhibits open at the annual Sculpturefest at the King Farm . “Grounding,” a show of site-specific work curated by sculptors Jay Mead and Edyth Wright, opens Saturday.

There will be a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. with the artists. Some of the participating artists include: Ria Blaas, Charlet Davenport, Joe Graham-Felsen, Lisa Kippen, Jay Mead, Mary Mead, Murray Ngoima, Jeffrey Simpson and Andy Wasserman.

New work is also going on view at the 509 Prosper Road site, which can be reached by a trail from the King Farm. Some of the artists exhibiting there are: Herb Ferris, Margaret Jacobs, Paul Machalaba, Justin O’Rourke, Jamie Townsend and Leah Woods.

An exhibition of photographs by Ann Barlow, of Burlington, taken from her “Salt Storage Series,” runs through Sept. 11. “Developing Dimension,” works by Aidron Duckworth that show his ability to create depth in drawings and paintings. are up through Oct. 30. The sculpture of Terry Lund, on the grounds, is on view through Oct. 30.

Hall Art Foundation, Reading, Vt. “Landscapes After Ruskin: Redefining the Sublime,” curated by photographer Joel Sternfeld, continues through Nov. 27.

Howe Library, Hanover. The Ledyard Gallery exhibits the work of Strafford artist Joshua Yunger through Sept. 28.

Main Street Museum, White River Junction. The museum’s exhibition of memorabilia associated with the Cold War continues through Oct. 28.

Osher at Dartmouth, Hanover. Lyme artist Barbara Newton exhibits her collages of New England landscapes through Sept. 28. The show is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:30 to 1 p.m.

Kilton Public Library, West Lebanon. An exhibition of landscapes and cityscapes by Lyme painter and illustrator Meg McLean is on view through Sept. 30.

Long River Gallery and Gifts, Lyme. “SKIN! (exposed)” includes works by Stephanie Reininger, Betsy Derrick, Liliana Paradiso, Nils Johnson, Meredith Muse and Doug Masury. The show ends Tuesday.

Roth Center for Jewish Life, Hanover. “White on Black: Images of Antigua,” an exhibition of photographs by Mort Wise, is on view through Sept. 13.
