Norwich
Members of the club and other volunteers will be removing debris, cutting brush and small fallen trees, clearing ditches, painting blazes and other chores on AT segments in Woodstock, Pomfret, Hartford and Norwich. Workers will walk two to five miles as part of their work.
No experiences is required, although volunteers are asked to bring lunch, water and work gloves. Sturdy shoes and clothes, particularly long-sleeved shirts, are also recommended. Those with rakes, hoes, shovels, loppers or pruning saws are also asked to bring them.

Bradford, Vt.
The event runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wrights Mountain in Bradford. Organizers will host guided hikes leading to a picnic lunch at the Chase Hollow trailhead starting at noon.
The cost of the event is $20 for adults and teens, $10 for children ages 6-12 and free for children ages 5 and younger. Proceeds benefit the Sean Tillotson Memorial Scholarship Fund at OHS. Look for the event’s Facebook page for more information.
Norwich
Sessions will be held in the Marion Cross School gymnasium in Norwich from 7:15-7:45 p.m. at a cost of $10 per lesson, a fee that includes both the coaching and the town activity fee. Afterward, participants are welcome to stay and play with club members until 9 p.m.
The UVTTC welcomes men and women ages 14 and older to participate. Bring a paddle or borrow one at the session. Reservations are welcome by emailing traceykawecki@gmail.com.
Hanover
While the top graduating seniors from Vermont and New Hampshire compete at Merriman-Branch Field, members of the Dartmouth College men’s lacrosse team will stage the clinic on Hanover High’s upper grass field from 1-2:30 p.m. The clinic is open to boys in grades 3-8, and each player should bring equipment including sticks, helmets, arm and shoulder pads, a mouth guard and gloves. Participants are welcome to stay afterward and attend the all-star games as guests of the Lions Club.

LSC blanked the T-wolves at home on Saturday, 4-0, behind two Pepper Joseph goals along with strikes from Charlotte Johnson and Arwen Clayton. Sage Eanet set up Clayton’s clincher. Sally Rainey and Emma Berard combined on the shutout in goal.
In Madbury, N.H., the Breakers completed their sweep with a 2-1 win over Oyster River. Jenna Veysey converted passes from Johnson and Joseph for LSC’s first goal, then set up Joseph for the winner.
Meriden
Ian Smith and Cam Forbush had hat tricks for the Shooters, who also picked up a two-goal game from Nolan McMahon. Becket McCurdy, Alec Smail and Zane Schiffman also scored. McMahon, Smail, Tinashe Muhlauri and Liam Rorke played well out in midfield.
The Shooters opened the weekend in Rowley, Mass., with a 3-0 loss to GPS North Shore.

Clark converted a free kick after teammate Ryan Oliveira drew a foul from the Synergy goalkeeper while attacking the net. The Chargers’ defense held from there to earn the team’s share of the points.

Bennett Newlove scored the Storm’s lone goal in Saturday’s loss. Goalie Tanner Durkee came up strong in Sunday’s date, getting the win as Mason Thompson and Asa Berolzheimer scored goals.

Two goals from Patrick Fitzpatrick and one from Noi Larsson helped the Cyclones rally from a 3-0 deficit for a 4-4 halftime tie. Roan Palm notched two highlight-reel strikes in the second half, but Merrimack’s counterattacking won the day. The Cyclones visit Hollis Brookline this weekend.

David Stoffel and Tyler St. Martin also hit the twine for the Storm, which enjoyed superior possession time and ball movement in the win. Max Ritter and Ian O’Brien shared the win in goal; O’Brien’s minutes were his first in the net this spring.

NEFC controlled the Kicks through Sunday’s match in a 15-1 victory. Sean Smith managed LSC’s only goal.
The Kicks rebounded well on Sunday, with Smith, Charlie Forbush and Quinn Mitchell striking early as LSC built a 4-0 lead. Thatcher Bacon converted a penalty kick and Forbush added his second goal to secure the win as the Kicks improved to 3-4-1.
Lebanon
The best-ball scramble event will cover up to 16 teams of five players. The cost to participate is $125 per person, with an 11 a.m. check-in and noon start. The tourney benefits the scholarship fund named in memory of Broughton, the founder of Post 22’s senior and junior baseball programs.

Participants are welcome to form their own five-player teams, or individuals can have organizers assign them to a squad. The cost to play is $100 and features the 18-hole tourney along with other prizes and auction items.

South Pomfret
The event will offer multiple options for all ages and abilities. The day begins at 9 a.m. with a 45-mile bike ride through Pomfret, Barnard, Bethel, Sharon, Hartford and Woodstock, along with a biathlon consisting of a 4.5-mile run around, up and over the Suicide Six summit and a 17-mile bike ride.
Those choosing only the 4.5-mile run or 17-mile ride will go at 10 a.m., and a one-mile run up Su Six’s Easy Mile kicks off at 11 a.m.
Everything returns to the ski area, where Zack’s Place personnel will provide a lunch featuring food from local sources.
The costs to participate are $15 for the one-mile run or $45 for the run or either bike ride. The biathlon costs $45 for individuals and $65 for teams.
