Patricia became a registered nurse in 1961 after attending Catherine Laboure Nursing School. She married Kevin Hannon on Sept. 17, 1966. In addition to raising a family of four, she worked as an RN at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Patricia was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by her four children: Kevin Hannon and his wife, Cathy of Chatham, N.J., Katie Lee and her husband, Jack of Hanover, N.H., Mary Browne and her husband, Michael of East Northport, N.Y., and Timothy Hannon and his wife, Laura of Littleton, Mass. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren: Meghan, Kevin, Katie, Maggie, Michael, Caroline, Coll-een, Timmy, Maeve, Kailey, Blake and Chase. She is also survived by her two brothers, Don McRae and Jim McRae. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Kevin Hannon who died on April 20, 2007, her brother, Alan McRae, and sister, Mary Robinson.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary of St. Peter’s Parish, 185 Hudson View, Poughkeepsie, NY. Internment is to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
