Shawn Hickok, of Randolph, Vt., is overwhelmed with emotion Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, while he and his partner Melinda Somers remember their friend and neighbor Concepcion “Coco” Cruz, of Randolph, Vt., who died Saturday after being stabbed. "He was a reformed man," Hickok said of Cruz. "He worked with the State of Vermont with the recovery centers helping people getting sobriety. He turned his life around completely.
