Slippery Slope

Dick Brousseau, of Hartland, Vt., picks up a trap on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, on land near Town Farm Hill Road in Hartland. Brousseau said he sets his traps to catch coyotes and fisher cats for their hide. "This is a kill trap for the fisher cats," he said to distinguish them from the traps he uses for coyotes.
