RANDOLPH – Gifford Medical Center is resuming all of its outpatient surgical procedures as restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic have eased, and other services are also coming back online at Gifford Health Care, the Randolph-based health system announced on Tuesday.

“Our team has reopened surgical services to meet the needs of our community while protecting their safety and that of our employees,” Gifford Vice President of Operations Rebecca O’Berry said in a news release.

Gifford’s primary care and specialty clinics are open, and diagnostic services, including laboratory work and imaging, are also available.

The news release said that patients scheduled for surgery at Gifford are tested for COVID-19 prior to the procedure. Patients are also provided with masks if they arrive without one.
