“A male from southern New Hampshire died suddenly at Mount Sunapee on Thursday at 3:40 p.m.,” Resort Vice President and General Manager Jay Gamble said in an email.
“Our prayers and condolences are with his family in this time of loss,” he said.
An email and phone message for Newbury Police Sgt. Brad Wheeler said in a Friday email that the accident is under investigation and the victim’s name “is not being released at this time.”
The death was the second of the month at Mount Sunapee.
A Massachusetts man in his 40s died on March 12 after he was found off an intermediate trail at the ski resort. A subsequent obituary identified that man as Thomas S. Schnellinger, 44, of North Andover, Mass.
