The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lavona Beebe, of Brattleboro, Vt., and George Leroy Burns Jr., of Worcester, Mass. She attended Hartford High School until 1995 and is employed as a front desk clerk at Days Inn in Lebanon.
The bridegroom-to-be is the son of the late Lisa Soule and Ross M. Thurston Sr., of Lake City, Fla., and the stepson of Janelle Wardwell Barrow, of Luling, La. He attended Thetford Academy until 2004 and earned his GED in 2011. He is employed as a paver operator at Blaktop Inc., in Lebanon.
The couple live in South Royalton and plan a wedding there in July.
