Concord — New Hampshire drivers could hit trouble renewing licenses or registering vehicles later this month as the DMV implements a new driver licensing system. All DMV offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday next week during the system update, according to a news release. Town and municipal clerks will also be unable to process the state portion of vehicle registrations beginning this Friday through next Tuesday.

Online driver license renewal and online ticket pay will be offline from today until next Wednesday, Oct. 11, the release said. Ticket payments by phone will also be unavailable on Monday and Tuesday.

Drivers are being asked to complete DMV transactions prior to the implementation, especially if their licenses or registrations expire during the closure. Customers might also experience longer wait times afterward, the news release said.
