Crescent City, Fla. —
Joyce leaves behind a husband of 55 years, William Brown; two sons, Randy and Gary; two daughters-in-law, Jenny and Sandra; six grandchildren, Tricia, Brittney, Alexis, Andre, Shannon, and Kodi; and five great-grandchildren, Dontay, Easton, Tiloh, Brielle and Jayce. Joyce had six brothers and sisters, Howard, Marjorie, Bobby, Steve, Mary and Raymond.
She was born in Hanover, N.H., in 1944 and was raised on the hill in Meriden. Joyce Brown was a caring, loving mother and a beautiful wife, she will be missed by many. The last twenty years of her life she dealt with a disability that would not slow her down. Her strength was beyond amazing, which strength she says she received from her father.
I know we should be rejoicing knowing where she has gone, but not having her with us is a pain that will not fade. Just remember one more perfect angel watching over us.
There will be a service in Crescent City on Dec, 20 at the Howe Methodist Church. In the spring, Joyce will be brought home to be laid to rest in Claremont, N.H.
