NHIAA Division II

Hanover

The Bears, who finished the season 0-16, will not be making an appearance in the postseason. The closest Hanover came to winning a contest was against Laconia, John Stark, and Hollis-Brookline earlier this month, losing by 12 runs in each game.

Lebanon

The Raiders, who are in fifth place at 10-5, are locked into the playoffs with one game remaining, as 13 teams make the tournament in D-II.

Lebanon, which started 8-2, has hit a rough patch of late, losing three of its last five. However, the Raiders have a chance to go into the playoffs on a high note as they close the season Friday at home against Hollis-Brookline.

The NHIAA Division II playoffs are scheduled to begin Wednesday.

NHIAA Division III

Mascoma

The Royals will miss the playoffs after a winless 0-17 season. The closest they came to picking up a win was against Newfound earlier this month when they fell 7-6.

Stevens

The Cardinals are clinging to a playoff spot, with 14 teams making the tournament, and they sit in 14th with a 6-9 record. Stevens, which is currently on a three-game losing streak, will look to snap that when it closes the season at Newfound on Friday.

The NHIAA Division III playoffs are slated to start Wednesday.

VPA Division II

Hartford

The Canes will be a team to look out for in the postseason at 11-2 and second in the division. Hartford has won six of their last seven games and three in a row and is staying hot headed into the playoffs.

They close the season Friday, hosting Bellows Falls.

According to the VPAโ€™s website, up to 16 teams can enter the postseason tournament, locking in the Canes for the playoffs. The first round of the VPA Division II playoffs is set for Sunday.

VPA Division III

Oxbow

While the Olympiansโ€™ 68-game winning streak was snapped this season, it does not seem to have impacted them as they head into their final game of the season at Harwood on Saturday, first in the division at 10-2.

The defending champions are on a three-game winning streak and will look to carry it into the playoffs.

Thetford

The Panthers are 3-10 and in eighth heading into their final game of the regular season on Saturday at North Country Union. Having lost five of its last six, Thetford will look to pick up some momentum headed into the postseason.

White River Valley

The Wildcats are in seventh at 4-9 and close their season on Friday at Woodstock. Mid-season, White River Valley seemed to find its stride, winning three of five during a stretch, but has faltered as of late, dropping three in a row.

Woodstock

At 2-9 and 10th in the division, the Wasps finish the regular season on Friday, hosting White River Valley. After winning its season opener, Woodstock dropped six straight games. As of late, the Wasps have dropped three of their last four and are on a three-game losing streak.

Since up to 16 teams can enter the postseason, per the VPAโ€™s website, none of the abovementioned teams are in danger of missing the playoffs.

The first round of the VPA Division III playoffs is set for Sunday.
