Lebanon boys and White River Valley girls pick up first-place finishes

The White River Valley girls and Lebanon boys defeated four other schools at a track and field meet at Lebanon High School on Tuesday.

Cassandra Armstrong won the 100 and 200 meters and the pole vault, Imari Taylor won the shot put and discus and placed second in the javelin, and Liberti Bollman won the high jump to lead White River. The Wildcats also won the 4 by 400 relay. For the Lebanon boys, Oscar Gulledge (110-meter hurdles), Daniel Calderon (300-meter hurdles), Brian Nelson (shot put), Ryan Desharnais (discus), and Alstair Smith (3,200 meters) all finished first, along with the 4 by 100 relay team.

Other first-place finishes: Sharon Academy – Noah Malloy (100 meters, high jump, pole vault), Finn Proulx (800 meters), Will DeCapua (javelin). Hartford โ€“ Jayden Forbes (triple jump), Elijah Ofstad (1,600 meters), Matthew Nubin (long jump), 4 by 400 relay team. White River Valley โ€“ Allen Wedge (200 meters)
