Really?
Was it absolutely necessary to publish yet another hit piece on our transgender friends, families, children in the guise of some biblical argument? (‘Talarico represents Christianity’s past, not future,’ March 14)
The ever-increasing attacks on trans persons are part of the process of “othering,” of making a class of persons less than human and deserving of discrimination … and this process has been ongoing on the state and federal level at ever increasing intensity. I won’t even go into the scientific inaccuracies in the piece, perhaps another day. But to publish this uncritically? For shame!
