Articles of note: One article in the school warrant asks whether the Piermont Village School District should become an open enrollment district, meaning it would admit one student per each grade in kindergarten through eighth grade from outside of the town, with 0% of the residential student population eligible to seek enrollment outside of the district.

Contested races: There are no contested races for the Selectboard or the School Board.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed town operating budget is $1.36 million, up from $1.25 million last year. The sewer budget is $43,700, with the bulk of the cost coming from user fees and the rest coming from the state. The proposed school budget is $3 million, up from $2.65 million last year. One article in the Town Meeting warrant asks whether the town should raise and appropriate $134,000 for a new highway department truck.

When, where and how to vote: Ballot voting will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 at Piermont Old Church Building, 131 Route 10. Town Meeting will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14 at Piermont Village School at the same address. The annual school meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 at the same location.
