The Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station in Vernon, which was decommissioned in 2014, is being considered for redevelopment by PowerTransitions, which is backed by Partners Group, and could include a data center, battery storage, or small-scale nuclear reactor, all of which would require approval from Vermont’s land use review process.
