Articles of note: One article asks voters to allow for a removal of the existing closed High Bridge Road bridge, to design and construct a pedestrian bridge crossing over the Archertown Brook gorge and to reclassify a portion of High Bridge Road from a Class VI road to a Class A trail. Funding would come from the Orford Conservation Fund, foundation grants and private donations, not taxes. 

Another article asks the town to authorize the Selectboard to tear down a small garage located on Route 25A beside the Heritage Center.

Contested races: There are no contested races in Orford this year.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed budget is $1.53 million, up from the $1.47 million voters approved last year. Another article seeks $503,000 for capital reserve funds. 

When, where and how to vote: Town meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 at the Rivendell Academy Gymnasium, located at 2972 NH-25A in Orford. Polls are open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for officers.
