Key moment: The two long jumps of the night (27.5 meters) secured the victory for Clapp.

SWIMMING
Hanover girls are first in nine-team meet
In its final meet before the NHIAA Division II state championships on Feb. 14, the Hanover girls swim team came out on top in a meet on Tuesday at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center involving nine other teams. The Bears scored 70 points ahead of Hollis-Brookline, second, with 31 points. The Hanover boys defeated three other teams with 64 points, followed by Keene at 48.
Hanoverโs wins were by Alan Zhqng (boys, 200-yard free, 100-yard butterfly), Addy Cesanek (girls, 100-yard butterfly) and Kai Britton (girls, 100-yard free). For Lebanon, Hailey Belardo won the girlsโ 200-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke. The Lebanon girls finished fourth.
