The Grafton County Senior Citizens Council has launched a countywide food drive to help older adults who are struggling to afford groceries.
The drive began Nov. 3 and will run through the end of the year. All seven of the councilโs senior centers, along with its administrative office and its Aging and Disability Resource Center, are collecting nonperishable food items during regular business hours.
Organizers are seeking donations of shelf-stable items, including canned fruits and vegetables, soups, pasta, peanut butter and cereal.
Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
- Upper Valley Senior Center and Administrative Building, 10 Campbell St., Lebanon
- Plymouth Regional Senior Center, 8 Depot St., Plymouth, N.H.
