The Big Green will face off with the fifth-seeded Arkansas Razorbacks (9-4-4) of the Southeastern Conference in a first-round matchup on Friday at 7 p.m. in Fayetteville, Ark.

Like Thursdayโ€™s 1-0 semifinal win against Columbia, it was the goal scoring of Stephanie Lathrop, a sophomore who transferred to Dartmouth from Purdue, that made the difference for the Big Green.

With around 27:30 left in the second half, Lathrop knuckled a free kick from just outside the 18-yard box around a wall and into the back of the net to give her squad a 1-0 lead.

The Big Green held off a furious comeback effort in the final minutes by Princeton, the team that handed head coach Taylor Schram’s squad its only Ivy League loss this season. Sundayโ€™s win against Princeton was Dartmouth’s first since 2013.

For their performances in the Ivy League Tournament, Lathrop was named the Most Outstanding Player and was also named to the All-Tournament Team, along with the Big Green’s Ola Goebel, Lourdes Lauterborn, and Anna Leschly.

Lathrop, Goebel, and Leschly made the All-Ivy First Team. Leschly was also named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year, and the coaches were named the Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year.
