Pittsfield, VT – Sandra Jane Robinson, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Sandra was born in Rutland, Vermont, on March 20, 1944, to Russell Howard Morris and Vivian Eliza (Green) Morris.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Lee Robinson; her son, Master Sergeant Harold Francis Robinson (“Pork”); both of her parents; her sister Elizabeth (“Betty”) Dunham and husband Fran; and her brother Russell Morris.
Sandra, affectionately known as Sandy, married Clifford Robinson on June 1, 1963, in Mendon, Vermont, and together they built a loving home and family. They lived in Windsor, Vermont, for 27 years, where they raised their three children. During that time, Sandra worked as a ward clerk at Mt. Ascutney Hospital, where her kindness and steady presence touched both patients and coworkers.
After the passing of Cliff’s father in 1995, Sandy and Cliff moved to Pittsfield, Vermont. There, Sandy worked part-time at the Pittsfield General Store until her retirement.
Sandy enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles, cross-stitching, tending to her beautiful flower gardens, and caring for her beloved dogs over the years. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her kindness, and her deep love for her family.
Sandra is survived by her daughter Tonya Martin; her son Russell and wife Wendy Robinson; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sue Charboneau.
A private burial service for family will be held at the Pittsfield Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Day Funeral Home in Randolph, Vermont.
