SOUTH ROYALTON — Senior Jillian Barry scored two first-half goals, bringing her season total to 14, as the White River Valley girls soccer team (10-2-1) defeated Green Mountain on Senior Day, 3-1.

Junior Anita Miller scored her first goal of the season in the second half and also had an assist in Thursday’s victory. Junior Amara Calhum-Flowers recorded an assist as well.

White River Valley honored seniors Barry, Ella Perreault, Shannon Hadlock and Ellie Prestridge. The Wildcats close the regular season Saturday at Stratton Mountain, looking to secure a top-four seed in the VPA Division III playoffs.

Lebanon 2, Oyster River 0

LEBANON — The Raiders (8-8-0) finished the regular season by beating the Wildcats (8-8-0) to claim ninth place in the NHIAA Division II standings.

Lebanon will visit No. 8 Merrimack Valley (9-7-0) for a first-round playoff game next week. The Pride won the teams’ earlier meeting, 1-0, on Oct. 3.

Sydney DeShane scored Lebanon’s first goal against Oyster River, lofting a shot from the top of the penalty area and inside the right post 16 minutes before intermission. Sophie Longacre doubled the Raiders’ lead midway through the second half, knocking home a long cross from the right corner inside the left post.

Hanover 1, Pinkerton 0

HANOVER — A Riley McGuire goal, strong defense and 10 saves by Sadie Ross added up to a Bears win over the Astromen (10-6-0).

The Bears finished at 8-8-0 and in 10th place in NHIAA Division I with the playoff pairings to come next week.

McGuire took a pass from Mia Madden, made a move around the goalie and scored from about 15 yards.

Bears coach Doug Kennedy credited the defense of Reese Hamlin, who had a critical save in front of goal, and the control and midfield play of Nora Bradley.

“Exciting game with multiple scoring opportunities for both team throughout the match,” Kennedy said.

Boys soccer Mascoma 6, Inter-Lakes 0

MEREDITH, N.H. — The Royals got a pair of goals each from Tanner Moulton and James Thomas to finish the regular season with the best record in school history at 13-2-1.

Garrett Giovagnoli and Brayden Pierce also scored, and Pierce and Zach Thompson recorded assists. Matt Favreau had five saves. Mascoma finished the season in third place in NHIAA Division III.

Mount Anthony 6, Hartford 0

BENNINGTON, Vt — The Hurricanes dropped their final game to the VPA Division I Patriots (10-2-2).

Hartford coach Kevin Guilbault said many who don’t see a lot of time played most the of second half, and he singled out the excellent play of senior Sawyer Albrecht.

Hartford finished the regular season at 11-2-1, ranked third in VPA D-II. Guilbault is hopeful for a home game to start the playoffs but won’t know for sure until Monday.

Conant 2, Stevens 1

CLAREMONT — The Cardinals ended the year at 3-13-0 and will graduate Sam Dalke, Trystan Lane, Devin Genes and Hunter LaRocque.
