ENFIELD — Enfield residents will have an opportunity to weigh in on a proposal to purchase land to build the town’s new public safety building and discuss how to spend American Rescue Plan Act funds during Monday’s Selectboard meeting.

The meeting begins at 6:15 p.m. at the town’s public works building at 74 Lockehaven Road and can also be streamed on Microsoft Teams via enfield.nh.us.

The board will discuss purchasing land from Shaker Hill Granite on Route 4 to use for the public safety building. Voters approved a $7.26 million bond at Town Meeting to build a facility that will combine the town’s police, EMS and fire departments.

Also up for discussion is how to spend $474,349 in ARPA funding and a $121,878 Highway Block Grant. The Selectboard must also approve more than $10,000 in donations for the Mascoma Lakeside Park Fund.

During the meeting, town manager Ed Morris will give a proposal about moving the town beach from its current location on the corner of Route 4A and Main Street to a parcel the town owns on Johnston Drive.
