WEST LEBANON – The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced rolling roadblocks on Interstate 89 and a temporary ramp closure on Interstate 91, impacting traffic for three nights.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, and Wednesday, Oct. 7, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., road crews will deploy rolling roadblocks on Interstate 89 northbound and southbound between Exit 20 in West Lebanon and the Interstate 89 and Interstate 91 interchange in White River Junction, according to a news release.

Additionally, the department is closing the Interstate 91 northbound Exit 10 off-ramp on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

A detour for Interstate 91 Exit 10A with message boards and temporary construction signs will direct traffic to Interstate 91 northbound Exit 12 to reverse directions to Interstate 91 southbound, where drivers can use the Exit 10A southbound off-ramp to Interstate 89 southbound.

New overhead sign structures will be installed as crews continue work on a multi-year bridge replacement project. When the installations are complete, lane closures and ramp closures will be removed.

“Road Users should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs,” the department stated in a news release.

The department expects the $43 million project, initially slated for completion by September 2025, to be finished this November.

Road work for the upcoming three nights is weather-dependent.
