LEBANON — Lebanon School Board, at its Wednesday night meeting, unanimously approved hiring Colleen McIntyre to be Lebanon Middle School’s next principal.
“She’s highly qualified, and we look forward to her joining the LMS community and as a member of the District’s leadership team,” School Board Chairman Dick Milius said in a Thursday email.
McIntyre, Mascoma Valley Regional High School’s associate principal, is slated to replace outgoing principal John P. D’Entremont, who is to take the helm of The Lyme School beginning July 1.
In a February email to LMS families, D’Entremont, who has been principal of the school with about 500 students in grades 5-8 since 2017, said he would resign on June 30 because it has become clear that he is “no longer the right fit for LMS.”
According to a document provided to the board, D’Entremont earns a salary of $101,173 annually, and McIntyre is to make $94,045.
