LYME — The Lyme School Board has hired Corinne Cascadden to serve as interim superintendent for the remainder of the school year.

Cascadden replaces Jeff Valence, who resigned as district administrator three weeks before the start of the school year. Valence also served as principal of The Lyme School.

Cascadden has worked in education in New Hampshire for more than 46 years, according to an announcement from the Lyme School Board. She most recently served as interim superintendent for the Littleton School District and superintendent for Berlin Public Schools.
