GRAFTON, NH — Paul Thomas Roy, 73, passed March 2, 2021 at the Jack Byrne Center for Hospice and Palliative Care after a long battle with Lung Cancer and COPD.

Paul was born in Nashua, NH on October 7, 1947 to Cecile Louise (Arel) and Joseph Alfred Roy. He married Alice Labrie on February 4, 1972 in Nashua, NH.

Paul attended Radiology School and worked in Radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for many years, retiring as an Asset Manager.

Paul served his country as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps in Vietnam from October 1966 to October 1969. He was very proud of his service and very patriotic. Paul was a life member of the VFW.

Paul enjoyed intarsia woodworking, fishing, and military history.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Franklin “Pete” Roy of Hudson, NH and Richard “Dick” Roy of Hudson, NH.

Paul is survived by his wife, Alice Roy of Grafton, NH; sister, Rita Martinez of Hudson, NH; brother, Roger Roy of Merrimack, NH; close friends, John and Marie Hinds of Lebanon, NH; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Gus.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
