The New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association crowned the Lebanon High girls basketball team co-champions of Division II, along with Spaulding, on Monday afternoon in a news release.

The two teams were set to meet in the D-II title game on March 14 at the University of New Hampshire’s Lundholm Gymnasium, but the NHIAA ultimately canceled all winter postseason contests due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Raiders, which defeated archrival Hanover in the semifinals, finish the season 18-4 overall and 16-3 in NHIAA play. Lebanon was led by Becky Wright, who averaged 22.7 points per game and is set to play basketball for Southern New Hampshire University.

The NHIAA also announced in the release that the Hanover and Lebanon boys basketball teams finish the season as runner ups in D-II along with Hollis Brookline, Kennett, Oyster River and Pelham.

ConVal and Bow were named co-champions.

Hanover and Lebanon were in the quarterfinal stage of the tourney when play was ended.
