LEBANON — The nonprofit Upper Valley Community Nursing Project is seeking its first executive director to lead the expansion of the organization’s work, according to its website.
Founded in 2011, the project aims to support the existing community and parish nursing programs in New Hampshire and Vermont and to assist in the development of new programs.
The Nursing Project does not hire or supervise nurses. It provides them with support and promotes the model across the health care system. Community and parish nurses are employed by municipalities and congregations to support residents — especially older adults — to stay in their homes safely.
The nurses collaborate with primary care providers, social service providers and skilled home health care and hospice agencies.
The new director will work with the board to shape the organization’s strategic goals.
The job description is available online at uvcnp.org. To apply, send a cover letter and resume to uvcnp1@gmail.com.
