WILMOT, N.H. — A 72-year-old Springfield, N.H., man died in a motorcycle crash in Wilmot on Monday, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Steven Berkeley was traveling north on Route 4A in Wilmot around 6:30 p.m. Monday when he crossed the centerline and lost control of his motorcycle. He died on the scene from injuries sustained in the crash, a state police news release on Tuesday said.
Police believe “excessive speed” contributed to the crash, which remains under investigation, according to the release.
