Bruce Perry has been selected to become the new executive director of the Green Mountain Horse Association when current executive director Tracy Ostler steps down at the end of the current competitive season.

Perry, the current assistant director of GMHA, has been with the South Woodstock equestrian organization for the past five years. Prior to joining GMHA, Perry had worked in environmental consulting and habitat restoration and at the Nantucket Land Bank.

Ostler, who has been executive director of GMHA for the past five seasons, is credited with returning the nonprofit to financial health and increasing participation at events, the organization said in a news release.

The Academy of General Dentistry granted Norwich dentist Dr. Toby Kravitz a Fellowship Award in recognition of โ€œexcellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.โ€

Kravitz, a Hartford resident who has had his solo practice in Norwich since 1989, earned the award after completing 500 hours of continuing professional education and passing a comprehensive exam, the organization announced.

Kimball Union Academy sports coach Lochrane Gary has joined the Hanover office of Four Seasons Sothebyโ€™s International Realty as a sales associate.

Gary, a Lebanon resident, is a strength and fitness coach at KUA in addition to serving as an assistant coach for KUAโ€™s boys varsity lacrosse team. He previously spent three years coaching the Lebanon High School boys varsity lacrosse team and for several years was also a movement specialist trainer at
the River Valley Club.
